The two were always getting into trouble... and their parents could be assured that if any mischief occurred their two young sons were in some way involved. “The Echo Effect” Luke 6:27-38 Karma... what goes around, comes around. It’s the idea, the concept, that you and I “get what we deserve” - be it good or bad - based on our actions. It’s a common precept. It’s practical... it sounds fair... and we’ve even witnessed - or experienced it ourselves, in our own lives - haven’t we? Of course, in God’s Word, we see it expressed by the phrase “you reap what you sow!” And despite the fact that very few of us live an agrarian lifestyle today (in other words, none of us here today are actual farmers, living only off the produce of our own land), we can still relate to reaping what we sow. What’s the Secret? Hebrews 3:12-14 “Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called ‘Today,’ so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.” (Heb. 3:13) August is my birth month... as many of you know. My birthday is August 4th - and I was humbled by all the cards, and emails... texts messages and posts that I received. I even had a few people wish me happy birthday in person, believe it or not! AND not only did I enjoy a delicious steak for FREE at Milano’s... but Tammy and I were both surprised when the waitress came to us “mid-meal” and told us that another couple in the restaurant paid for our entire meal!
